Two stories, both second hand:
A number of years ago while in the Navy, a Yankee buddy of mine needed to make
an airline reservation and inadvertently uncovered a gap in Air France's
training programs. His call to their reservation desk was answered: "Air
France (in a French accent), kin I hep ya?"
Same fellow was picking up his ticket at an airport in the South. When the
transaction was completed and as he turned to leave, the lady behind the
counter said, "Y'all come back, now, ya hear?" He, of course, turned back to
the counter.
