This door quirk was very prevalent in the old mg=E2=80=99s as we have =
photos of my father holding the passenger door closed while cornering. =
On the old Mg's the frame would twist more than the suspension worked =
and the door would pop open.

Make a strap that goes in the opening

Bob--

I did the very same thing when I was taking a portion of VSCCA's Driving =
School at Poconos in the 100, and I used to have a photo of me on the =
track with the door partially open.

The solution of course is to either cut the cord or wear a knee brace.
