The only issues that I have personally encountered have been with the
diaphragms in SU HD series carburettors so I would definitely replace those
with modern replacements before filling up with E10 or E85
I have been told that ethanol can damage cork seals although I have yet to
see evidence of this.
I understand that currently available parts are ethanol compatible.
