I=E2=80=99m curious to know how you discovered the nuts were loose in the fi=
rst place.
I had trouble with leaky gaskets, so I spent a fair amount of time under the=
re getting things sealed up. I ended up making my own from Remflex, which is=
a graphite based gasket material designed for exhaust systems...it compress=
es somewhat and gives a good seal.
But I=E2=80=99ve never found the nuts loose...mine are stainless, not brass.=
