I'd say it was less likely as there will be no scuttle shake. Still could happen from one of the other factors such as a poorly adjusted 1/4-light. The mounting stud at the bottom of the long leg fits in a slotted bracket at the bottom of the door, and this sets how the *top* of the 1/4-light engages with the top of the door aperture. Set too far in it will bend the 1/4-light back against the door skin every time you close the door.
