  Well, to each thier own I guess, I've got about $40-50 total in  my wiring, 
this included new pigtails (didn't really need to be replaced, just didn't 
feel like using the old ones) for the tail lights, the only things that 
weren't redone were a few of the dash ones that were fine.

  Everything else from turnsignal switch (signal stat), ignition, front and 
rear wiring was replaced using 14ga wire.

  The main reason I didn't go with an aftermarket setup was the wiring used 
was 16 and 18ga if I recall.

     If it only costs $15-$20 for the materials, I would do it myself as
 well.  Anyone on the list know the approximate quantity of wire necessary to
 do the job?  Also, what would be an appropriate number of wire colors to
 assemble the harness for traceability?  I know it would be real cheap to buy
 one huge spool of black 16 gauge, but it sure would be a nightmare to trace
 later!
