Rather than deleting all messages except those relevant to your post you may 
want to consider something like I do.  While not a major participant, I read 
everything (almost) what I find interesting technically I print and file in a 
note book.  Then when I reach the inevitable "What the h*&^%" I have a 
reference by the best technicians in the oletruck world.
