I am cleaning up my frame for painting and want to remove my springs. The
manual is not real clear (to me) about servicing the shackels... Also had
a question about removing the spring. The manual says lift the truck with
chains or something like that. My truck does not have the bed, can I just
put a jack under the frame to reduce the pressure on the spring? How can I
determine the condition of my shackels and if I need to fix/replace them?
