Grant--
Did you make sure you have the shoes on correctly, with the long lining
on the back, short lining on the front? How's the parking brake
hardware...is the parking brake engaging some, keeping the shoes apart
at the top? they should both contact the anchor. Someone else
mentioned the adjuster, make sure it's all the way closed. Check to see
if the shoes are correct...maybe you got a defective set? On Chevy
trucks, they make the shoes with two different web thicknesses, so you
can get thick shoes and have adjusters with narrow slots, and they won't
seat properly. Not sure about Tbirds, but it's something to check.
