I  have acquired what I think is a Muncie 3 speed transmission from an AD
truck. It has the flange on the tail housing for the torque tube. The
casting number is 59616 and the other numbers are GM 1 and D240.
Can anyone tag this rascal for me? The numbers I have for chevy from 1947
thru 1953 don't show this series.
