I'm kinda liking the trans mounted drum type parking brake better than the
rear drum actuated stlye. I don't like that parking brake handle in the middle.
Makes adding AC from another car more diffecult. I was on my home from church a
few Saturadys ago and I went to stomp on the brake and all the way to the floor
the pedal went. Fortunatly, I am a slow driver always gives more front room than
most. I geared down and quickly got on the freeway where its safer. I still
would have been in trouble with rear drum type parking brakes, because The left
rear drum split in two. I didn't know this until I got home (30 miles or so w/
no brakes) and pulled the wheel with fluid all over it.
