Dear Deve,
    You might try a farm supply store like, Farm & Fleet, Rural King or 
Tractor Supply, I'm not sure what you have in your neck of the woods 
(plains).  When I was in the contracting business, we would clear railroad 
right of way for the major lines.  I had about a dozen Ford tractors with 
mowers.  I had several sickle bar mowers with the sickle blades riveted on.  
We would replace  the bad sections and rivet them on with ball peen hammers 
and  something solid on the head of the rivet.  
    The particular rivets that you are dealing with may be different, 
however, I would start first at the tractor supply stores.  Another source 
may be the Thomas Register that I believe you can access on the web.  They 
are a good source for anything to do with manufacturing.  Another good source 
could possiblybe some farm auctions, etc.
