Good Evening,
I really could use a little advice, upon trying
to install my alternator I notice that my harmonic balancer was
loose, after a short examination it became apparent that the harmonic
balancer was loose for quite some time. The channel in which the key
fits has a wide grove worn from the loose balancer. Now no big deal
I decided to replace the balancer but a new problem rised. The key
in the crank shaft is also been widened by the loose balancer. So
has anyone had experience with this?? Is there anyway to replace the
crankshaft without pulling the motor or is there a way to repair. Any input
is greatly appreciated.
