Hey Keith :

Welcome to the List. I have a 55 2nd 1/2  ton also and I'm in the 
process of installing the same front clip. Mine is made by RB's 
obsolete. Is that the one you were referring to?  I was planing on 
ordering one from Chassis Tech but they were having some production 
problems. I don't the know answer to your question  but I saw a post on 
this list that said late 80's caddy had disk brakes and would work on 
55-57 tf trucks. I have not had a chance to look for one yet ,but if the 
rear end measures 60 , 61 inches it will fit.  If you find one first let 
me know.
