FWIW, you can get smaller "under counter" units that take up a lot less floor
space. Even a little "dorm room" refrigerator will
hold a dozen or more of your favorite 12 oz beverage cans and still leave some
room for storage under the bench.
Depends a lot on what you do in your shop; but sometimes it's nice to just pop
open a cold one without having to clean up enough to
go in the house. They do cost something to run, but chances are that it's a
whole lot less than you're spending on containerized
beverages.
