Chip mentions solenoids
I've had the same problem and just shorted the solenoid with a screwdriver
as suggested, with no long term effects. The '64 I used to own ( how I wish
....) had a button on the solenoid to operate the thing, which I assume is
the same effect, implying that this OK ? No doubt Dan will correct me !
Scott mentions Harleys.
I think there is some appeal in common between a HD and a Triumph - basic
engineering which I can understand, and something almost classic about the
design - art on wheels ? Almost.
