Would anyone be able to help me?
My vehicle (as it is "wired" now) won't start with the key or shut off
with the key. I have to use the screwdriver at the solenoid trick.
I believe a lot of wires are incorrectly hooked up, but I need to verify
which wires hook to which terminals on the ignition switch. My car is a
'74 1500.
I need to know which wires hook to:
1. ACC
2. IGN ON
3. START
Then I will be able to trace them back through the firewall and make
sure they are hooked up prooperly. The Haynes manual is less than clear
as to what color all the wires hooked up to the switch positions are,
especially where mor ethan one color goes to a single terminal.
I would appreciate any help!
