Joe,
I used strip trim adhesive to seal up my trim piece on the windshield, also
used it to put the body molding cappers on the trunck and body seams.  It
would work good on the firewall grommets.  I found it at an auto paint store
here in town.

BTW, anyone know where I can find a grommet large enough to fit the hole for
the antenna on a 1500??
