Yes, these are the pieces that you are not supposed to separate. You might incur
the wrath of the brake gods.
If you are worried about it, get a brake pro to do all your work. Then they will
have all the liability...any all your money. I'm sure that you feel as I do. The
job is just so simple that even a mechanic can do it.
PS Don't step in front of my car if you don't trust my brake work. Should I put
the bumper sticker on the front or the back?
