Jason, you have a early 1962 Spitfire!! They srarted out with
in 1962 with Chassis number FC1. Then in 1965 they started the MK2's with #
FC50001. The engine number you list is not
a valid number!!?? Please recheck and advise. I have no records
of an engine number starting with FE?? At least not for a Spitfire.
With the digits you show, it should begin with "FC". I have a
1964 Spit and the Chassis number is FC33975-L and the original
engine number is FC 34656-HE. So, if your block Number is
FC 33347- HE, you have a 1964 Spitfire engine in it!! And it is
the 1147cc unit. Let me know, thanks, Bill.
