Good point, I assumed it was a midget 1500 (Which used the spit engine)

The 1975 and on MG Midgets used Spitfire engines, so
if the Midget is a late one then you are on easy
street.
The previous Midgets used BMC A-series engines and
would be a lot of work to convert.
