  I second this opinion, since more than once I have had to
remove the ring JUST to change the gasket.

  Inevitably, you realize it's leaking when you fill up
the tank, so the first thing you have to do is frantically
find a home for 30 liters of stinking and leaking fuel.

  Last time it happened to me, found myself with all my
cars full, I had to start knocking on doors and giving
gas to neighbors.
