I am duly impressed. Thanks. Would you believe that later on the day I sent
this post, I also checked out the feature article at Hemming.com and found that
they commented on the rear suspension as well.
My question originated from two things: First, I was wondering whether my
adding another sping may have altered the "pivot" characteristics and secondly
my boss's boss told me about going for a ride in his brother's Spitfire many
years ago and feeling they were about to be pitched from the tub when rounding
a corner rather spiritedly. I would guess it was one of the older models.
