Hi List:
I drained the GL5 out of my diff a while back (no gold
flakes) and have been shopping for replacement lube.
Found some 85w-90 GL4 and a 75w-90 synthetic rated for
GL-4, GL-5 and MT use.
Do you guys think the synthetic is safe for our diffs
even though it is rated for GL5 use in addition to the
GL4?
I haven't found any synthetic rated just for GL4 and
am not motivated yet to mail order any Redline lube.
