As per the transmission oil, the recommendation is to use a GL-4 oil, usually a
90 weight or close variation. GL-4 is for non-hypoid gears and does not have the
sulfur additive of the GL-5. Definitely do NOT use GL-5 or Extreme Pressure,
Hypoid gear lube as it will slowly corrode the synchro rings.
