Strange headlight pot

Hi all,

I am currently working on the TR3 and noticed my headlight pots are
different. One says "Lucas Fxx0 MK VIII". Where the xx is unlegable. This on
also has a small clip inside the pot for the hold down spring, about 3/8"
long. 

The second has no markings but the hold down clip is significantly longer at
about 1.5". 

Anyone know what is going on here?
