Richard,
You have me thinking now. Duh, can you smell the smoke? Lets say one has a
6 cylinder TR and the ventilation has been altered and possibly restricted
from stock. Other mods including 40 over pistons, shaved head and profiled cam
are present. Now under high load when you are stomping on the gas in 1st and
2nd, do you think that the pressure would also blow up by the rings into the
combustion chambers and go out the tail pipe in the form of gray/black smoke?
If
your answer is yes you have helped me out on my TR250.
Thanks,
Darrell
