Have a look at this site to see a Miata that has been fitted with Bugeye
headlamps.
What's that saying "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"?
It really needs a grille though to have a proper look.
Whatdayathink?

This reminded me of a funny spridget story that happened last summer.
I was out driving on a beautiful sunny day with my girlfriend in the
Sprite. We came to a stop light. I was second in line in the right-hand
lane. A miata pulls up next to me in the left-hand lane. It was also second
in line. Both cars were BRG, course the Miata had fancy polished chrome
wheels and a spoiler etc... I could feel the drivers envious eyes absorbing
the lines of the Sprite.
Anyway the light turned green and I proceeded to go at my usual slow and
noisy pace.
Unfortunately in his haste to follow me the Miata driver failed to notice
that the SUV in front of him was turning left. Commence slow speed
collision: I heard the screeching brakes, crunching metal and cracking
plastic as my girlfriend screamed "Did you see that!". "Nope, but I sure
heard it." I replied as we continued on our way. I would have stopped but
that probably would only have hurt this poor fellows pride more.
Wonder what his insurance claim/accident report said?

Should I put a little Miata sticker on the flank of my car ala WWII aces to
signify the kill?

Be careful out there,
Jim Rowan
