With my books out on loan, I am going from memory here.
Are you guys maybe talking about "Riviera Blue" I know this was a 66 Sprite 
color
and that the Midgets came exactly the same color but MG may have called it
something different.
Riviera Blue is about the color of a Bic pen cap.
