Just wanted to send a quick "Thank You!" to those who offered advice and
suggestions on why the oil light was flickering in Miss Molly the Midget:

        Matt Liggett
        Rene van Maanen
        Chris Kotting

The engine is freshly rebuilt, as in less than 2,000 miles, so I am
relatively certain it wasn't a problem with the rods or mains. I
replaced the lifters but not the cam, the head was ground, and I set the
valve clearance to .010 (cold): Is it possible that I need to readjust
my valves because they are now seated?

Regardless, seems the problem was the oil pressure valve -- I think. I
pulled it, cleaned it off with some carb cleaner, and ran a nylon pistol
brush down the bore. Didn't appear dirty, but the light doesn't come on
now. Go figure.

I also changed the oil over to Castrol GTX 20W50 from my usual Valvoline.
Don't know if this had an effect, but I am loathe to disturb MOWOG at
this point....

Rich
