Chuck,

If you have one of those multimeters (a $10 investment) check the
resistance of those plugs wires.  You may be surprised.  From experience, I
can tell you that for, some reason, they do not seem to last long.
You can get a new set for only $10 from a regular auto parts place. (Hmm,
maybe thats why they don't last)
