Well, my encounter with the 1500cc engine came when I owned a 1979 Spitfire. 
And I must say I never had any trouble out of it. It was the best car I ever 
owned to date. As a matter of fact I am buying another Spitfire with a 1500cc 
engine in it next month. Personally I love the 1500cc. But that's just me.
