I thought that Misery would be the only place to consider Texas a step up.
(Just kidding. I live in Colorado and we hate it here. Snows buckets every
week. Cold year round. Horse dung everywhere. No indoor plumbing. And
the people are downright mean. So if anyone is considering a transfer
better rethink it.)
I agree with your assessment of spridgets for young people. My bugeye was
my first car and I think I'm a better driver for it. You tend to keep your
eyes open and regular maintenance is a must. It also kept me out of
trouble when "the gang" wanted to go somewhere. I couldn't drive. I only
had 2 seats.
