I have had good luck using Super Clean, then lacquer thinner (quickly or
it may melt the plastic) followed by a plexi cleaner like Novus.
I have turned brown windows into something semi usable.
With a little finese you can successfully melt out scratches using
lacquer thinner on plastic windows.
If the window is hard and brittle, get a new one.
