You know, I've always wondered how you recharge an Optima battery.
What if the alternator fails and the battery gets run down? If
there's no vent, is it safe to charge it?

The gel cells are great Mark, I've had one in a car since '94 and
it's
still going
strong. It is in a daily driver however, I don't know how it would do
in a once a
week/month car. They work well for me, only problem is they are a bit
costly though.
