Cylinder head work can be competently done by any reputable auto machine shop.
If the shop has been in business for over 25 years or so, they have already done
British heads. As long as you know what to ask for, any shop can do it. These
are not exotic complicated heads. The work is very straight forward. Press in
new bushings, ream them, machine or install new seats and face the head. In
fact, look at Corebuyer's add in eBay. He tells you everything you need to get
done to properly do your head. Now just go shopping for a good price.
