Brent,

Nope, it won't hurt brass - as long as you are using Washing Soda for the electrolyte. (1 tablespoon per gallon of water and the Neg. (-) lead always goes to the part being cleaned)

Sometimes Lye is used and Lye WILL harm the brass.

If you need more washing soda - let me know and I'll bring some down on my next trip ;) (April)
