So I FINALLY got off my butt,
and went to Harbor Freight. I
was in the area, and I needed
some tool trays for my new bad
ass Crew Line creeper I got at
a yard sale last weekend. I
can't find out much about them
online, but this one is 42"
long (about a meter for our
friends across the pond), has
an adjustable headrest, a
flashlight with a 24" flexible
stalk for the light, to adjust
it to where you need to see,
heavy chrome tubing with 6
rubber wheels that are 3" in
diameter, and upholstered in
shiny black vinyl with gray
and silver flames. The tool
trays have tabs that are right
where the wheels bolt up, so
mounting them will be a
breeze. They were $5.99 for a
pair of two, and they each
have 12 magnets in the tray to
keep your tools stable.
While I was browsing the
store, I found the silver
aluminium jack that Soave
mentioned getting. FWIW, it is
on sale (at least here) for
$119, normally $169.
Interestingly enough, I found
a jack right next to it, with
red trim, that has all the
same specs. It was $40 less
(at normal price), at $129,
and includes two matching
heavy duty jack stands. I
understand that it is NOT
online at harborfreight.com.
The salesman went to check,
and he says that the item may
be going out of stock soon.
SO, if you need a jack and
stands, it is a heck of a
deal. Item # 91850, 3000 lb
lifting capacity, 3.5 - 17.5
lift range, 38.5 lbs weight.
No financial interest, just
very happy with the purchase I
made today.

Brad
