iv'e gotten the timing farily close.. to those figures,,, had
paul A rebuild me a 40919 dizzy and made sure the vacuum works
correctly... don't have a programmable timing light, BUT,
after getting "close" .. i go for a drive, and listen for ping,
high gear, up hill, slow speed, if detected i turn back the
adjustment knob a click or so... if not, i turn it ahead a
click or so, .. (actually, 10 click forward, .. 8 back, 5
forward, etc.. REALLY close to it now,, 1 click back
yesterday.. .. if it pings its too far advanced right? if it
doesn't ping as much advance as you can get?
