Same on my 45DCOE, Vigil.....10+years. Of course, those were years without 
"gasohol" and/or ethanol additives.

Whether this might make a difference in breakup of the rubber seal or not...."I 
am not knowing".

Chinese soft mount kit?  I don't know how long mine last but I figure  at 
least 7-10 years.  I use the rubbers and cups rather than the thackrey  
washers.
