The Honda Fit engine, I really believe, would be right at home in an LBC. 
Plenty of power, low weight and small size, all aluminum block even down to
the oil sump.  If you look at it an adapter would not be tough at all.  I need
to engineer the kit and make a ton of money. . . .

I have often wondered why/if this matters.  Do
they turn the same direction? 
If so, and the size is reasonable, I see no
special reason why we could not 
just make the same kind of adaptor we do for
Datsun 5-speeds.  It makes more 
sense than some of the mamouth things we have
seen people put in for fun.
