I don't know the difference in the pumps.=C2=A0 The pump tou have is probab=
ly a good version.=C2=A0 All I know is all you have to spend is 40 bucks on=
 a pump theat is reliable and delivers just the right fuel pressure for you=
r car.=C2=A0 Installed one on my car back in 09 and has been working fine e=
ver since.=C2=A0 If you have had to replace yours, try the cheaper pump.=C2=

Electrical problems can be very frustrating, voltages that seem good may dr=
op under load as resistance from bad connections causes Ohm's Law to come i=

Sometimes the solution doesn't seem obvious at all: I once replaced a start=
er twice,before I took my mechanic's advice and replaced the battery cables=

Earlier you said the battery was at 12 Volts, this seems a bit low as a ful=
ly charged battery should be closer to 14 Volts.
I would still expect the fuel pump to work, but if you have a fresh battery=
 that you can swap in temporarily it might prove informative.

Depending on the cable, it may have a metal collar on either end. Generally=
, the carb side will wear into the collar and cause sticking issues. Inspec=
t it if it has the collar at the end. Look closely for a cable sized wear s=
pot on the flat where the cable comes through. Check for wear on the cable =
too! If a wire wears through it can bend and cause sticking.
