I don't know anything about the "Classic" but I have older "Clubman" seats
in my Tiger. Quality and price were great. Fit was not ideal but mine were
1 inch wider (were someone else's custom order but were now on-sale!).
Seat pad height was too high for using the Tiger sliders but they mounted
directly to the floorpan ok. I later modified the driver's seat so it fit
better,
its now very custom.
As long as you are changing seats anyway, you should have a head
restraint to keep your head off the rollbar, think about the Cobra Clubman.
If you want to see my install, the car is semi-accessable in Dublin.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the Cobra "Classic" seat
(link below)?

I am considering installing in my Tiger, as the seat looks "period
correct", but also will provide some bolstering for more spirited driving and
autocross...and the price is less than redoing my stock seats ;-)

But, I haven't been able to find one to check out/sit it etc., so I'm not
sure if it would be a viable option. I'm interested in fitment (looks plenty
narrow, so it should just be a matter of modifying a set of sliders),
comfort (long haul) and quality (is it as cheap as the price!)

Thanks
Mike
