TR4 bumper support bracket color?

Just finishing a three year restoration of a pristine New
Mexico TR4.  Floorboards are still the original signal red with
no rust.  However the whole car had seen 30 years of sun and I
am not sure what color of black the brackets were. Help? 
Ready to paint and drive in Santa Fe.
