Can't help you on the Bentley manual but as far as netiquette goes, as long
as your message is relevant to the list you have subscribed to, then by all
means send the messages out to all lists that would be interested. Spam is
a message that is sent to all lists, everywhere and that message has
nothing to do with what the people on a particular list are discussing. You
post a cake recipe to this list and you deserve to be flamed. You post a
triumph question to the brit cars list, you should get a good response. If
you worry about hogging bandwidth, then post just to the triumph list and
if you don't get your question answered (unthinkable!) then post the
message to the brit cars list. But, the point is to communicate with as
many people as possible who can help you, share your interests, etc.
