V-8 swap to TR6

Speaking of swapping V-8 into triumphs has anybody ever tried a V-8 swap 
into a TR6.  Original equipment would be retained so it could easily be 
swapped back in so the car could be restored to original condition.  Also 
does the book Jags the Run offer any info.
