The TR6 valve guides are most certainly replaceable,  I have just recieved
six bronze exhaust guides from TRF, and am awaiting six intakes, from
Victoria British (TRF was out) for the valve job on my 70 GT6.  It uses the
same head as the TR6.  Possibly you ment that the existing guide hole has
worn too large to use a standard guide? in that case a competent machine
shop could machine a slightly larger one to fit the enlarged hole if it is
not otherwise damaged-
