Sorry to tell you this, but I've been hitting the list off and on
since August looking for an original hardtop. You'll not find one
easily.
In answer to your question, a hardtop was introduced in 1964 for the
Spitfire. Be aware that attachment method changed slightly, but the
overall shape didn't, in 1967, at FD20,000. So, if you find one,
you'll need to know for sure what car it came off of.
BTW, if you find two, save one for me.
