I'm searching for a 70-76 Spitfire (although I won't rule out any of the
MK3, Mk4 or 1500s if the car and the price are right).

Condition should be good to excellent. Either a low mileage car (50k or
less)or a RECENT rebuild, if done well and correctly, and receipts etc are
available.

Hardtop preferred, but not required.

No rust. A small amount of surface rust on the skin may be ok if the rest
of the car is in really good condition and the price is right.

Never seriously damaged.

Prefer car located in: NM, AZ, TX, CA, OK (cars located in CO, NV, ID, UT
will be considered if rust is not a factor)

A fair price will be paid for the right car, and I will take care of your
Spitfire and give it a good new home.

I am also checking the usual Web sources and the VTR page (but the cars
listed there seem a little "pricey" compared to the rest of the market).
