Try Practical Classics & Car Restorers ON SPITFIRE restoration from
Brooklands Books for a Step by step restoration on a Triumph project car.
For history and specs try "The Triumph Spitfire" from TAB books.
For modifications (only one chapter devoted to it) "Vintage Racing Brithish
Sports Cars" from Robert Bentley Publishers.
